The Historic Vineville Neighborhood Association has stepped up once again to keep our streets clean. On Saturday, May 7, several community members came together to pick up litter and trash throughout the Vineville Neighborhood. They started their cleanup at Vineville Baptist Church and broke off into teams to tackle different streets. People of all ages came together to collect bags of litter scattered along the road.

“Neighborhoods and good neighbors are vital for a successful community,” said Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Executive Director Asha Ellen. “With their commitment to hosting monthly neighborhood cleanups the Historic Vineville Neighborhood Association  is proof of the love and pride the residents have for their neighborhood and all of Macon-Bibb”.

KMBB provides any organization cleaning up with pickers, bags, vests, and gloves. If you would like to hold your own community a cleanup, contact Ellen at asha.ellen@kmbbc.org .
